Born in Ukrain, Yevgeniya Nommesen moved to the United States at the age of 5. She’s been experimenting with art since a very young age and is ever growing in her use of media – including acrylic, oil, watercolor, ink, pencil, and fibers (knitting, crochet, sewing). She enjoys translating the mundane through art by way of portraying God’s divinity in everyday settings. Nommesen often integrates Christian imagery into her artwork as a form of worship.
